Our standard 6-bed cabins have 3 bedrooms and are spread over two floors
Information
In our cozy standard 6-bed cabins there are 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The cabins are double cabins which are perfect for those who want a smaller unit or for two families who want to travel together but also want privacy.
The cabin has an open living room and kitchen with fireplace, sofa group, dining table and well-equipped kitchen. In the kitchen there is a fridge combined with freezer, stove with plenty of oven space, coffee maker, kettle and dishwasher. In the living room there is a TV with channels. Outside on the terrace there is outdoor furniture, it is also possible to borrow a charcoal grill. Inside the bathroom is a sauna – perfect after a long day of skiing. There is an extra bed on the 2nd floor in the hallway in case it is needed.
Our standard cabins were built around the late 90s and the 6-bed cabins have the good old-fashioned Norwegian cottage-feel. With the traditional cabin sofa, pine walls and red/blue interior, it creates a good and warm atmosphere in the cabin. Light the fireplace and tea lights, serve cocoa and find the board game to compliment the atmosphere perfectly.
Pets are allowed in all our cabins at Geilolia Hyttetun. There is an additional charge of NOK 300,- per pet. Please let us know when booking if you want to bring pets or have allergies.

Cabins with activities right outside the door
When you stay at Geilolia Hyttetun, you have the activities right outside the door. Ski in and out in the winter season to Vestlia Ski Center, and walk to Geilo Summer Park during the summer. The cross-country tracks for the trail network are nearby, but it is also possible to take the ski lift to reach the trails in the mountains towards Hardangervidda and Hallingskarvet. Several of the activities on offer can be found for large parts of the summer and winter in Vestlia. Some of the activities are fat bikes, dog sledding, guided snowshoeing and frisbee golf.
